C.O.A.C.H (Year 13)

Who: Year 13 Māori students taking at least two sciences (Chemistry, Biology, or Physics)
What: Full-day wānanga at Waipapa Marae exploring health, science, and careers such as medicine, nursing, pharmacy, optometry, and medical lab science (MDL).
When: Delivered mid-year (Term 2)
Why: Build confidence, connect with role models, and gain exposure to real university and hospital settings.

Who: Year 12–13 rangatahi and whānau
What: Evening whānau events held across multiple locations
When: Held across various rohe throughout the year
Why: Explore entry pathways into university with academic staff, Māori support services, and student tuākana.

Hui ā Kura (Years 12–13)

Who: Senior secondary students
What: 80-60-minute in-school wānanga
When: February to April each year
Why: Strengthen cultural identity, clarify science goals, and set a direction for tertiary study.

M.A.S.H (Year 12)

Who: Year 12 Māori students taking at least two sciences (Chemistry, Biology, or Physics)
What: Three-day, two-night wānanga hosted at Waipapa Marae
When: Mid-year (Term 2 Holidays)
Why: Build study skills, meet Māori role models in science and health, and explore subject pathways (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).

What: Four-day academic wānanga with a focus on Sciences, English, and Maths
