Whakapiki Ake Early Exposure (Years 9–11)
Whakapiki Ake team undertakes regional visits across the North Island to discuss with students and whānau to discuss how we can support rangatahi to uncover their future Māori potential. These aim to give rangatahi exposure to Whakapiki Ake, raising aspirations, encouraging cultural identity, and reminding them about the importance of their choices, particularly subject choices.

Whakapiki Ake Early Exposure (Year 9–11) is set to take place over Term 3, between July and September 2023.
(Note: These visits are catered to Year 9-11’s rangatahi Māori in groups of up to 60, with 60-90 min interactive workshops.
